We are pleased to invite you to the 20th International Symposium on Tubular Structures (ISTS 2027), taking place in Delft, the Netherlands, from 6–8 September 2027.
Established in 1984 by the International Institute of Welding (IIW) in Boston, USA, the ISTS series promotes scientific development and advanced applications of steel tubular structures. Since its inception, the symposium has been hosted in leading cities worldwide, including Tokyo, Lappeenranta, Delft, Nottingham, Melbourne, Singapore, Madrid, Québec, Shanghai, Hong Kong, London, Rio de Janeiro, Beijing, and more—bringing together a global community of experts and practitioners.
ISTS 20 is organised by the Department of Engineering Structures at TU Delft and Bouwen met Staal. The symposium is widely regarded as the premier international forum for showcasing research, development, and applications in tubular structures.
The event will be of interest to manufacturers of hollow sections and related construction products, architects, trade associations, design engineers, steel fabricators, developers, researchers, academics, and postgraduate students.
